GRIFFIN'S FIRST HAIRCUT!

Griffin's hair was getting so long, so he got his first official haircut on Thursday (12/31). He was a good boy, not really minding that he was getting his haircut, except when she starting trimming by his ears. He wasn't a huge fan about that. Here are a few pictures, before and after.

Uh oh, here we go!

So Griffin has been pulling himself up and standing for the last few weeks. In light of this we decided to lower his crib mattress before he started pulling himself up. Our grand idea was working great until tonight:) After I put him down for bed I heard a bump and he started whining. I assumed he probably tried to pull himself up and accidentally bumped his head. When I went in there he was on his back and I soothed him and left the room. He started whining and crying again for probably 10-15 which was odd because lately he just goes to bed without crying or fussing. So I go in there and he's standing at the edge of his crib staring at the door!! :) I couldn't beleive it, he finally figured out how to pull himself up in his crib...uh oh, here we go! I picked him up and started laughing and was also proud of him...my little man is getting so smart!!
Thank goodness Kris and I decided to lower his mattress height a few weeks ago!
I just had to share my story for the night:)

Update, Finally!!!

Wow, what a slacker I am! 5 months of no new posts!! Well, I'm back at it...hopefully:) No promises. Anyway, we've been busy busy:) What's new...hmmm... Griffin is growing like a weed! Everytime I think he's not going to fit in his the next size clothes, he's already outgrowing them. Tonight he tried tacos for the first time and did not like it so much. Because of his allergies, he could only have some meat and lettuce. He spit most of it out:) Last week Kris and I went on vacation so he spend a lot of time with Grandpa and Grandma Mulloy. He had a blast! And I know Grandpa and Grandma did too:) Me on the other hand...I missed him a ton and couldn't wait to see his smiling face!
Griffin is having so much fun playing with any and everything that is not his toy. He loves to pull himself up on everything...fireplace, couch, etc. and stand to play with toys. We put up the bumper edges along the fireplace and I swear he could stand there for an hour straight playing with his toys.
Griffin also still LOVES to be outside! Here is a picture of him swinging at a park by our house. The picute is already 3-4 months old, but it's still cute:) I'll have to upload some new pictures soon!

My New Bumbo Seat!

Griffin loves his new Bumbo seat and so do we! He like to reach for and play with his toys on his tray. This seat is the perfect size for Griffy.

Easter Weekend

Wow! Its been way too long since I've posted something new...sorry! We had a blast on Easter weekend, we had a lot of our family here with us for the weekend to help celebrate the holiday. Opa and Grandma MJ, Uncle Micah, Uncle Jimmy, Uncle Jordan, Grandpa and Grandma Mulloy, Uncle Josh and Aunt Jenn and Holden. It was so nice to have everybody together! Cousin Holden was playing a funny game where he would walk through the opening of two large bushes that we have in our yard. He liked to take people with him on his little adventure. I shot a video of him taking Grandpa Mulloy and Griffin with him on his adventure:)

Jumpin' in my Jumperoo

Griffin loves to jump in his Jumperoo even though his feet can't quite touch the ground yet. Kris and I put a pillow underneath his feet so he has something to push off of until he gets a little bit bigger.

St. Patrick's Day Parade!

Kris and I took Griffin to the St. Patrick's Day Parade last weekend. We had so much fun! Griffin hung out in the baby bjorn for the parade and enjoyed the breeze on his face. He LOVES to be outside! After the parade we grabbed lunch at the Great Dane and Griffin was all tuckered out and slept like a rock while we were eating. I'm so glad the weather is getting nice so we are able to spend more time outside with Griffin. Here are a some pictures and videos from our fun day at the parade!

Playing Wii with Daddy

Kris and Daddy have fun playing Tiger Woods Golf on the Wii! We love the Baby Bjorn...so convenient!

Airplane!

Griffin and I have a new game we like to play...Airplane!! Griffin enjoys flying through the air on my shins...it gives him a new perspective on his surroundings.

Couch Monster

Daddy and Griffin played "Couch Monster" the other night. The couch monster would grab Griffin's legs and pull him under...thank goodness Daddy was there to save Griffin and pull him to safety.

Grandpa & Grandma Mulloy Visit

On Friday Grandpa and Grandma Mulloy came to visit for the day. Griffin was in such a great mood and had so much fun hanging out with his Grandparents. He had lots of smiles to share and was telling them lots of stories:) We had so much fun together and hope they come back soon to visit!

Milk Belly

Griffin loves his milk and seems to be growing so fast! As you can see from the picture below he is busy working on a nice buda belly. I can't believe that he is already 10 weeks old today!

Big Boy Chair

Griffin has fun watching Daddy play Tiger Woods Golf on the Wii while sitting in the relaxing massage chair.

My Two Guys

Kris usually leaves for work in the morning around the same time that we wake Griffin up for his morning feeding. I just had to share this picture of my two men in the morning...so cute!

Snuggle Bug

Kris and I gave Griffin the nickname "Bug" awhile back. We tried to snuggle with our little Bug, but he was more interested in playing:)

Griff's New Toy!

I thought I would experiment and see if Griffin wanted to play with a rattle. With a little help from me the first few times, he got the hang of it pretty quick.
